We are currently hiring Intensive Direct Support Specialists for day, evening, and overnight shifts for our AFH (Adult Family Home) that supports residents with autism, aggressive behaviors, and physical disabilities.
Responsibilities:
As an Intensive Direct Support Specialist, you will provide behavioral support using established Behavior Support Plans and Trauma Informed Care approaches. You will also provide caregiving activities such as bathing, grooming, hygiene, dressing, toileting. transportation, community integration activities, companionship, and conversation to residents.

Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with autistic individuals, aggressive behaviors, behavioral support plans, and trauma-informed care approaches is preferred but not required
- A strong passion for helping others with autism and intellectual and physical disabilities
- Be mentally and physically capable to assist participants based on their needs
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Maintain a valid driver’s license with excellent driving record
